How we are paid

Some operators reviewed on this site pay us a commission when a reader opens an account through our links. The payment can be a one-off fee per new customer, a share of the operator's revenue from that customer, or both. Links that can earn us money are marked as sponsored and go through a tracked address on our site (/go/…).

What payment does not change

• Scores. A Stakes Score is calculated from our measurements with published weights. Commission is not stored anywhere near those measurements and cannot reach a ranking. See how we score.
• Order. Rankings are sorted by score. There are no paid positions.
• Offer values. Every offer is priced with the same formula, whoever pays us.
• Who we cover. Operators that pay us nothing are measured and ranked the same way, and "Visit" buttons appear on every review whether or not we earn from them.

What it does pay for

Funded test accounts, real deposits and withdrawals for our payout tests, price capture for margins, and the people who do the work.
