Safer gambling
Gambling should be entertainment you can afford. If it isn’t, here is free help.
The honest maths
On average, every bet and every casino game loses money. That is how operators stay in business, and it includes every offer on this site. Our numbers can help you lose less; they cannot make gambling an income.
Keep it in control
- Decide what you can afford to lose before you start, and treat it as the cost of entertainment.
- Set deposit, loss and time limits in your account. Licensed operators must offer them.
- Never chase losses, and never gamble with money meant for bills, rent or debt.
- Don't gamble when you are upset, stressed or have been drinking.
- Take breaks. Use the operator's reality check and time-out tools.
Warning signs
- Spending more time or money than you meant to.
- Borrowing money, or hiding gambling from people close to you.
- Feeling anxious or irritable when you are not gambling.
- Gambling to win back what you lost.
If any of these sound familiar, talk to someone. It is free and confidential.
